The Schrijver systeem® (Schrijver system®) is a product that eliminates, prevents and controls problems caused by
damp. 
This
means that you can achieve a dry and healthy living environment and a substantial cut in heating bills. The
system helps control problems caused by damp walls and damp cellars, rising damp, mould and mildew and damp or
mouldy smells. Thanks to this system the building will be better preserved. It is a cost effective damp control
and damp solution system, a guarantee for a dry indoor climate.

Damp control in "Parochie St. Johannes de Doper church"
Schrijver systeem® Netherlands received an order to install their damp control system in an old listed
parish church "Parochie St. Johannes de Doper". This church is located in Grootebroek, in the province of Noord
Holland. Like one third of the Netherlands, this town is below sea level and additionally often suffers from
flooding. The church committee had considered several damp proofing systems and decided that the Schrijver damp
control system is the best solution to solve their rising damp problems. The Schrijver systeem® damp control
elements function on a natural basis by utilising air streams and temperature differences and without the need for
chemicals or electricity and are therefore environmentally friendly. The church committee was very impressed with
the work done and decided to also install the system in the parish building.

Schrijver systeem® installed on a whole Island!
The idyllic Island of St. George’s is located just off the coast of Cornwall in the very south of
England. The island was for many years privately owned, but is now a marine nature reserve and is a popular day
trip for visitors. The island is still inhabited, but the buildings on the island are experiencing damp problems
both due to the sea climate and recent climate changes. Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s research showed that the
Schrijver systeem® is ideal for these conditions as the system does not use electricity or chemicals and can help
regulate the living environment inside the stone houses for the rest of the building's lifetime - with no impact
on the protected outdoor marine environment at all. The actual installation of the system was also slightly
unusual for the UK Schrijver team - all the materials and tools had to be transported to the island by boat and
then carried by hand to the buildings, as cars are not allowed on the island. All the buildings on the island had
the Schrijver systeem® installed.

Den danska Almennyttigt Building Society - DAB - väljer Schrijver systeem®
Den världsberömde danske arkitekten Arne
Jacobsen är främst igenkänd för sina möbler, men han har även designat många byggnader under sin karriär. Sina
första byggnader designade han i Rødovre, utanför Köpenhamn 1951. De 140 radhusen, som med sina karakteristiska
höga skorstenar stod ut från andra radhus från denna period, har haft problem med fukt i väggarna, som har
försökts att torkas med olika metoder i flera år. Nu har DAB valt att installera Schrijver systeem® i de två
första radhusen och förhoppningsvis kommer alla radhus få göra likadant. Arne Jacobsen har designat många fler
byggnader i Rødovre – bl a – deras stadshus.

Schrijver systeem® installerad på Rådhuset I Helsingör!När vi hör eller läser om Helsingör tänker vi troligtvis på Hamlets berömda slott, "Kronborg". Bara ett stenkast från detta världsberömda slott, finnes Helsingörs rådhus. Inte lika gammalt som slottet, byggt i en liknande stil. Rådhuset är cirka 150 år gammal. Helsingörs rådhus var urspungligen ett gammalt häkte, men hyser nu rådförsamlingen, administrationen och konferensinrättningar. Källarvåningen har fuktproblem i de över 70 cm tjocka tegelväggarna. Efter att Schrijver systeem® nyligen lanserades i Danmark, har stadens styrelse valt att installera Schrijver systeem® och med detta ernått en betydande förbättrning av arbetsmiljön inne i huset.
